TASK is currently looking to fill the following positions:
PRODUCTION OPERATORS
Surface-Mount, Chip & Wire, Inspection & Test Experience
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination, Attention to detail, Manual dexterity
Type of Work Experience: Hands-on assembly or fabrication with use of Microscope
Type of Products: Electronic components, PCB (Printed Circuit Boards), flex & ceramic substrates
Additional Requirements: Read and interpret drawings and specifications, Solder and manually assemble various electronic components on PCB (printed circuit boards), Assemble microcircuits requiring fine hand assembly, the use of microscopes and adherence to cleanroom procedures, Inspect electronic components and assemblies to ensure adherence to specified requirements, bilingual English and French
FIELD SALES ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance
- Define technical solutions by preparing technical elements of proposal
- Supporting the sales team in technical product presentation and demonstration
- Interact closely with vendors to understand new technologies and effective implementation of customer applications
- Provide technical training on the products
- Extensive travel to meet clients with sales team
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering
- Bilingual English and French
- 2-5 years of experience in a product development environment
- Experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience with PCB design, product design and chip packaging
- Demonstrated understanding of high tech electronics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong sense of innovation and problem resolution
- Able to travel within short notice
Senior Process Engineer
Responsibilities
Development of new processes and maintenance of established processes used for the miniaturization of electronic assemblies. These include gold and aluminum wire-bonding, die attach, encapsulation and hermetic sealing utilizing fully automated, optical pattern recognition equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience in one or more of the above processes. Ability to learn, apply and use several types of the equipment described above. University degree preferred but not mandatory – hands on experience is more important. Ability to work in a high tech production environment as a member of a team.
Product Engineer
Product Engineering Responsibilities
Product Engineering guides the organization through the Project Proposal stage, layout design & prototype phase and pre-production phase. Responsibilities include:-
- Product conception & definition.
- Proposal preparation and quotations.
- Layout design & design verification.
- Generation of manufacturing drawings.
- Liaison with customer.
- Liaison with sales, process engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing & test groups.
- Configuration control.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience in a product design environment. Ability to learn and apply the technologies described above. University degree in electrical/electronic engineering is mandatory. Ability to work in a high-tech environment as a member of a team. Highly motivated.
